Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer 2 provides direct support to mechanical assembly operations, advising production teams, and supplementing work instructions. The role involves hands-on support, process development, design workstations, and tooling design. The Manufacturing Engineer will also support the launch of production programs and advise design engineers on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and other production-related matters.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in an industrial assembly operation of large products
- Technical writing and development of detailed work instructions
- 3D CAD program skills (PTC Creo preferred)
- ASME Y14-series standards and assembly drawing interpretation
- Training or Education in Design of Tooling, Fixturing, Jigs, and support structures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- US Citizenship and ability to pass a criminal background check
- Active possession or eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (preferred)
