Manager, Quality Assurance

Manages the development and implementation of Quality Assurance/Control function to ensure that VACCO Products meet specifications and contract agreements from the design stage through end of useful product life.

Requirements

• Manages the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures and process improvements
• Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications
• Formulates and maintains quality assurance/control objectives
• Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures
• Manages workers engaged in inspection and testing activities
• Work with vendors and Supplier Quality Manager to insure the quality of all purchased parts
• Investigates and responds to customer rejections or complaints
• Responsible for Material Review Board (MRB), internal audits, corrective/preventive action process and the calibration system
