Construction Foreman (Substations)

Valard Construction is seeking a Construction Foreman to oversee on-site construction activities and lead crew members at a substation in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The role involves ensuring project construction is executed effectively and safely, managing field issues, and maintaining a positive work environment. This is a Field based position with shifts based on project schedules.

Requirements

• Journeyman designation in a related trade (Power System Electrician / Construction Electrician / PowerLine Tech)
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience in medium to high-voltage substation construction
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, project scheduling, cost and quality control
