Job Description
Valard Construction is seeking a Utility Person to join their growing team in the Central Ontario area. This hands-on role involves supporting the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical power systems and related infrastructure. Candidates must be local to the region or able to commute within a reasonable distance and possess valid Class AZ driver's license.
Requirements
- Valid Class AZ driver’s license
- Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, Traffic Control, and Book 7 training
- Demonstrated experience in reading and verifying locates
- Hands-on experience with rock drilling, chipping, boring, and equipment operation
- Experience hauling and operating heavy equipment (asset)
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
