Job Description
Principal Engineer will manage project budgets, schedule tasks, and provide technical expertise for electrical design, including I&C specifications and client collaboration. The role involves supervising staff, analyzing design packages, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Extensive knowledge of design codes and client liaison are crucial.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10-15 years of experience in Medium/High voltage design and application of switch gear and motor controls within a power distribution or engineering consulting environment
- 5+ Years of experience supervising staff and managing projects
- Strong technical skills and the ability to mentor and assist staff
- Ability to analyze, design and produce engineering packages for clients and prepare instrumentation specifications
- Ability to establish and maintain good business relationships with key client contacts
- US work authorization (or willingness to sponsor)
