Senior Software Test Engineer

Valiant Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team! The Senior Software Test Engineer will support our agile software development practice, aiding an environmentally focused Federal Government client.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Experience in both manual and automated testing
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress
• Familiarity with testing tools such as TestRail, JIRA, and Jenkins
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues
• Understanding of security standards and accessibility compliance (Section 508)
• Familiarity with load testing and performance testing methodologies and tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders
• Passion for delivering high-quality software products
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required
