Senior Network Engineer

ValidaTek is searching for a Senior Network Engineer to support our customer’s network architecture in a secured DoD environment. The Sr. Network engineer will provide full network support including design/architecture, planning, security, and troubleshooting of issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a primary role designing and architecting routed and switched networks
• 3+ years in a DoD environment
• 2+ years as the senior or lead engineering in planning, designing, and building software defined networks
• Experience monitoring network performance and resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Experience with network virtualization technologies and multi-tenant network architectures
• Familiarity with a wide variety of network routing and switching equipment devices from multiple vendors
• Experience scripting languages and coding for network threshold events
• IAT Level III certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
• Master’s degree preferred
