Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Legal & Compliance Analyst with experience in the financial services industry to help build and support the Legal & Compliance function at Validus.
Requirements
- Support the embedding of awareness across the Company of its regulatory compliance requirements and responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring the Company’s compliance with regulations in each of the countries in which the Company operates
- Assist with the preparation and filing of submissions to the FCA, NFA, CFTC, OSC and other regulators
- Liaise with external advisors on legal, regulatory and compliance topics and projects
- Conduct investigations in respect of any operational errors
- Assist on the completion of all legal related tasks including supplier due diligence and contractual documentation
- Assist on data protection matters
- Assist with building strong corporate governance including company secretarial and risk control matters
