The School Psychologist works in collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to support student academic achievement, social/emotional functioning, and the special education evaluation and eligibility process.
Requirements
- Completes psycho-educational evaluations and re-evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team evaluation and facilitate associated meetings
- Uses a variety of appropriate instruments/strategies to assess student abilities: intellectual, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments for special education eligibility or 504 accommodations
- Consults with teachers, administrators, parents, and intervention teams to identify needs and tailor strategies
