Job Description
Van Metre is seeking a driven Accounting Intern to support our New Homes Accounting team. In this role, you will participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about Accounting Software, and assist with other accounting activities.
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics
- Computer experience to include advanced Excel skills, Word and PowerPoint, as well as some experience or knowledge of accounting software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and work independently
- Motivated individual with a lot of energy and a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills
