Director, Controls and Governance (Advice & Wealth Management)

Join the new Controls and Governance department as a highly skilled and motivated senior controls leader within the Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) Division.

Requirements

• Leadership: Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew, providing guidance and training to develop talent.
• Oversight: Provides oversight of business unit controls.
• Control Design and Monitoring: Partners with key stakeholders to implement and monitor an effective and efficient system of controls.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with the division's leadership team and risk partners to ensure risk and control matters are appropriately considered as part of new and existing operations, technology and oversight processes.
• Policy Management: Assist in developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.
• Consultation and Analytical Support: Provide advice on improving our approach to managing and controlling risk.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and maintain knowledge and awareness of the wealth and investment industry, risk and control practices, and regulatory and/or policy changes.
• Special Projects: Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
