Job Description
Vanguard is seeking a strategic and collaborative attorney to join our Securities Finance Legal team, drafting and negotiating legal agreements and advising on global legal issues impacting securities finance.
Requirements
- Draft & negotiate various legal documents for securities lending, repurchase agreements, as well as broker/dealer trading and platform agreements and supporting documentation.
- Advise internal clients and business units on global legal issues impacting securities finance as well as educate and inform for enhanced governance and better compliance with policies, regulations, and laws.
- Support new services, new markets, product developments and strategic initiatives.
- Counsel and educate investment management financial risk teams and business units.
- Maintain a high level of expertise in applicable areas of the law, Vanguard's business, the mutual fund industry, and the securities finance industry.
