Job Description
Vanta is hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant to help scale their finance team. The role involves preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and close management, as well as identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of US GAAP, experience in high-growth environments, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly revenue accounting (ASC 606), contract cost accounting (ASC 340)
- Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting business needs
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and comfort working in systems such as NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Experience with close management tools, including optimization efforts
