Engineering Manager

Vantage is a cloud cost transparency platform that helps enable everyone analyze, report, collaborate on and optimize their cloud infrastructure costs. We're hiring an Engineering Manager who has previously built and delivered production software as a Software Engineer, and who brings strong instincts around delivery, pace, and coaching.

Requirements

• Experience as an Engineering Manager responsible for delivering customer-facing software.
• A background as a Software Engineer, with experience building and shipping production systems.
• Strong delivery instincts: ability to scope work, sequence projects, and manage tradeoffs.
• Proven ability to coach engineers and improve team execution over time.
• Comfort working closely with Product, Design, and customers.
• A bias toward ownership, clarity, and iteration over rigid process
• A kind person who gives clear, direct feedback
