Job Description
Varda is a rapidly growing space infrastructure company accelerating innovation in orbit. They are seeking a motivated Structures Engineer to design, analyze, test, and integrate structural components for spacecraft and reentry vehicles. The position offers exposure to real-world hardware in a fast-paced environment and contributes to projects ranging from spacecraft structures to mechanical ground support equipment.
Requirements
- Derive hardware requirements and perform initial design trades.
- Evaluate the impact of hardware design decisions on packaging, thermal, environmental, and loads.
- Own all aspects of hardware delivery.
- Use hand calculations, finite element analyses, and computer-aided designs (CAD) to ensure all hardware meets or exceeds requirements.
