Job Description
Vast is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of artificial gravity space stations. The role involves mentoring engineers, managing software lifecycle, and building systems for mission-critical functions. This position is part of a growing team committed to space exploration and has the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people on Earth.
Requirements
- Develop new and optimize existing software codebases.
- Mentor junior ground software engineers.
- Manage software lifecycle, including configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Build applications in the cloud.
- Maintain and upgrade ground systems for test and communication.
