As a Commercial Fire Alarm and Security Systems Install Technician, you'll be tasked with installing more complex security systems in commercial customer settings. You'll work closely with our outside sales team to ensure our customers receive the highest level of professional care from start to finish.
Requirements
- Installation of commercial solutions including wired and wireless systems.
- Actively participates in company initiatives such as securing new referrals and upselling, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Troubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose existing fire alarm systems as needed.
- Drive to client sites, with a company issued vehicle, to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirements.
- Run low voltage electrical wiring; related activities to include drilling, conduit installation, etc.
- Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operation/product manuals.
- Perform inspections and service on electronic fire systems.
