Job Description
VEG is a rapidly growing emergency veterinary company seeking a Shift Lead to manage and coordinate nursing care. The ideal candidate is passionate, motivated, a team player, and comfortable adapting to new situations. The shift leader will coordinate workflow, ensure quality of care, and promote a positive team environment while providing on-the-floor support and direct patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) (or enrollment in a Credential Support Program).
- Understanding of VEG practice workflow and situational awareness.
- Ability to read, speak and hear information clearly.
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours and lift up to 25 kg.
- Comfort navigating communication channels.
- Strong interpersonal & organizational skills.
