Senior Software Engineer - Aplos

Velora is a rapidly growing company forming Velora (Aplos, Raisely, and Keela) aimed at helping nonprofits thrive. They are a hybrid team with a focus on improving nonprofit work efficiency and impact. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed solutions and contributing to the company's platform architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• Mastery of high-level programming languages (NodeJS essential, Java beneficial)
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture patterns
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and understanding of cloud design principles
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
