Software Engineer, Deployment Infrastructure

Vercel is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that powers Vercel's build and deployment lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience designing, building, and operating backend applications and distributed systems at scale.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing, building, and operating backend applications and distributed systems at scale
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• End-to-end ownership of systems from design and implementation through to long-term operation in production
• Skilled at cross-team collaboration and able to influence priorities and drive alignment toward shared goals
