Veriswap is a growing barter marketplace for sports cards, aiming to be 5x larger than the cash market. They are seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to architect their database schemas, write code in Typescript, and lead a team. The company has experienced rapid growth and substantial transaction volume.
Requirements
- Write clean code in Typescript using NextJS
- Architect database schemas for PostgreSQL
- Be involved in product and strategy conversations
- Solid understanding of security, scalability, and efficiency for backend infrastructure
- Understanding of REST API's
- Hands-on experience with GitHub
- Leadership experience leading a team of 3+ engineers
- Backend experience using NestJS: 4 years+
- PostgreSQL: 4 years+
- Typescript: 3 years+
- Google Cloud Run, Google Cloud SQL, GCP: 2 years+
- Direct work experience with Product Managers/UX Designers
