Job Description
Vertical Aerospace is pioneering electric aviation with its VX4 eVTOL. They are seeking a highly talented Avionic Systems Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and integration of communication, navigation, and surveillance systems for their eVTOL platform. The role involves system definition, integration testing, certification, and contributing to technological advancements. The company prioritizes a supportive, innovative, and challenging work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in avionics engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical & electronic engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in avionic systems engineering.
- Working knowledge of ARP4761, ARP4754 and DO-160.
- Familiarity with avionics standards and communication protocols (ARINC 429, CAN, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553).
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools (MATLAB System Composer preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards.
