Job Description
This Electrical Engineer role will focus on designing and releasing electrical customizations to chillers, contributing to cross-functional development and problem-solving within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include creating and revising schematics, layouts, and wiring harnesses, and collaborating with various teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and resolve field issues. The engineer will be expected to guide less experienced members and deliver quality products.
Requirements
- Create and revise unit wiring schematics and network connection drawings
- Create and review electric panel layouts following relevant codes and standards
- Create and revise wire harnesses
- Check and approve drawings and bill of materials
- Participate in identification of cost reduction opportunities
- Implement product changes to solve field issues
- Work with software team to develop and verify CRAC system controls
- Work with development scientist to validate setup of new electrical customizations
- Participate in identification of cost reduction opportunities
- Implement product changes to solve field issues, support service department
