Job Description
This Field Service Tech II position is for a TEII (Technical Electrician I) at Vertiv, assisting with switchgear start-ups, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong customer service skills, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Technical work and maintenance under supervision are expected, with potential for independent work and independent projects.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Mechanical & Electrical aptitude
- 2+ years of hands-on electronic experience or field services
- Training in electrical theory and technologies
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/kneel/crawl frequently
- Knowledge of electrical test equipment
