Job Description
Vertiv is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Piove di Sacco, Italy, to design Direct Expansion cooling units for Data Center cooling. This role involves mechanical design, collaboration with suppliers and the transfer of products from other locations. The position requires a technically skilled individual with experience in HVAC and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Up to 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer in the HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD & PLM systems, particularly PTC Creo, Solid Edge, Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
- Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are desirable, but not essential.
