Job Description
Vertiv is seeking an innovative Sr. Principal Electrical Research Engineer to join their Delaware, Ohio research and development team. The role focuses on advanced research in 1-Phase and low-end 3-Phase UPS systems, aiming for transformative solutions for the next 5+ years. The engineer will contribute to disruption, innovation, and market needs by researching and evaluating new technologies and advancing power engineering.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in power engineering.
- Proven expertise in power conversion technologies, inverter and rectifier systems, energy storage systems, and grid interaction for UPS applications.
- Experience with advanced research methodologies and a passion for exploring new, disruptive technologies.
- Strong understanding of global power standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in an electronics lab.
