Job Description
This Structural Engineer role involves providing conceptual and detailed design of building structures within pre-sales, and post-sales stages. The role requires ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements, managing contracts, and coordinating with various engineering firms. The engineer must also be skilled in technical documentation, manufacturing processes, and providing technical support to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Professional engineering (PE) License (optional)
- 4+ years of mechanical/structural engineering experience
- Knowledge of local, state & federal codes governing installation of low-voltage switchboards and switchgear
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
- Knowledge of local and national building codes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
