This role is for a Cargo Superintendent/Petroleum Loss Control representative, responsible for ensuring efficient cargo handling operations. The role involves customer service, log management, accurate cargo quantification, and proactive communication with clients, including oversight of vessel berthing and sailing. It requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, able to manage projects and solve problems in a fast-paced maritime environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Maintain Active TWIC, valid Driver’s License, Reliable Transportation and continuous Internet Service
- Currently authorized for extended work in the United States (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Acceptance of the schedule inherent to the maritime/petroleum industry
- Extraordinary attention to detail, accuracy & timeliness
- Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Strong Computer, Software & Smart Phone Proficiency
- Able to climb ladders, stairs & vessel gangways
- Able to effectively see and maneuver under/over/through obstacles
