Vestas Japan is looking for a Site Supervisor for the Akita site. The role involves organizing and planning daily activities, leading teams of technicians, and ensuring smooth and safe operations of the offshore wind farm. The successful candidate will have experience in a planning role, be fluent in English and Japanese, and have a full and valid driving license in Japan.
Requirements
- Electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school / college / university
- Equivalent experience as service technician / service engineer or service management
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills
- Business level Japanese speaking
- Experience in a planning role
- Ability to manage general safety and safety awareness
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required
- Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility, reliability, technical competence, and a team player
- Ability to influence and lead others in a positive manner
