Job Description
Vesuvius is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its Flow Control division. The engineer will be responsible for the design and development of mechatronic solutions for continuous casting, aiming for customer specific needs and proper application integration. The role involves feasibility, conception, design testing, commissioning, and documentation in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Degree of Engineer in industrial mechanics
- Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and oxygen systems
- Mastery of CAD, 3D software, and FEA
- Good planning and prioritization skills
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills
- Team player with willingness to work collaboratively
- Experience working in a steel plant environment is a plus
