Licensed Veterinary Technician - Knoxville Pet Emergency Clinic - TN

Knoxville Pet Emergency Clinic is seeking an Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to support their veterinary team in providing exceptional care to animal patients and a positive experience for clients. The role involves assisting with animal handling, maintaining cleanliness, preparing exam rooms, and providing assistance during medical procedures.

Requirements

• Licensed/Registered/Certified Technicians preferred but willing to consider experienced unlicensed technician as long as license is anticipated to be received in 6 months or less
• A passion for working with animals and a genuine commitment to their well-being
• Ability to handle and restrain animals of varying sizes and temperaments
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
• Detail-oriented and capable of following medical protocols and instructions accurately
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and restrain animals as needed
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication purposes
