Job Description
VHB's growing Land Development Group is seeking a Civil Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026. Potential for candidate to be based out of our Springfield, MA office. Responsibilities include technical and design report writing, working within a team to develop site civil engineering plans, and assisting in the preparation and/or reviewing of design criteria, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering undergraduate or graduate program
- Ability to think critically and creatively in a team-focused environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience preparing graphics and maps
- GIS, HydroCAD, and StormCAD experience a plus
