Traffic Intern

VHB is seeking a talented traffic intern to join their Raleigh, NC team. This role involves evaluating crash data, geospatial data, and creating traffic safety and engineering reports. The intern will work with VHB staff to advance projects, perform field work, and maintain accuracy and detail. This position offers exposure to diverse projects and senior leadership within an innovative team.

Requirements

• Evaluating crash history data and verifying data accuracy.
• Use and create geospatial transportation data.
• Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data.
• Effectively interact with VHB staff to advance projects.
• Perform field work, taking measurements, pictures, and visual confirmations.
• Prepare traffic safety and engineering reports and technical memos.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in civil engineering.
