Global Foundry Engineer

Victaulic is a global leader in mechanical pipe joining innovations, and is seeking a Global Foundry Engineer to design and construct new foundry tooling, maintain existing tooling, and generate casting and pattern quotations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of pattern building experience and knowledge of foundry processes.

Requirements

• Follow and promote all safety guidelines
• Design and construct new foundry tooling
• Responsible for routine maintenance and changes to existing foundry tooling
• Generate casting and pattern quotations
• Coordinate movement of patterns between facilities
• Work with global teams on new product launches, engineering changes, and cost saving projects
• Maintain active tooling list
• Participate in Lean tools, VPDS, Facilities Excellence Maps, and quality improvement process
• Actively pursue process improvement/cost reduction opportunities
• Training of salaried and hourly employees
