Vice President, Medical Affairs

Vir Biotechnology is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company looking for a strategic and hands-on Vice President, Medical Affairs to lead Medical Affairs activities and advance the company's pipeline and prepare for commercial milestones.

Requirements

• Develop and execute global Medical Affairs strategy
• Partner with clinical development teams on late-stage planning
• Provide cross-functional leadership and strategic input
• Oversee operations, budget, and tactical execution
• Lead congress and scientific meeting strategy
• Advance collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders
• Oversee Medical Science Liaison (MSL) and Medical Information teams
• Establish and oversee medical engagement strategies
• Lead medical education initiatives
• Serve as a medical and scientific representative of Vir Bio
• Lead, mentor, and develop an existing team of medical affairs professionals
