Job Description
The Acute Care Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of assigned patients. They must possess physical capabilities to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally and must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress associated with the position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- BLS certification
- ACLS or PALS certification (depending on the unit)
