Job Description
Virtru is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to drive improvements in observability, performance, and reliability across their platform infrastructure. The role involves monitoring application performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and collaborating with internal teams and government clients. Virtru focuses on respect for data and aims to create a secure and protective environment for customer data.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance required
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a cloud engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in DevSecOps practices
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, and Helm
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work onsite in Reston, Virginia, with occasional travel to client sites in downtown Washington, DC.
