Job Description
Visa is a world leader in payments and technology, with over 259 billion payments transactions flowing safely between consumers, merchants, financial institutions, and government entities in more than 200 countries and territories each year. The company is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics and Engineering to join its Payment Ecosystem Risk and Controls team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing on analytics and reporting initiatives, delivering data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the development of industry-leading capabilities to protect Visa and its clients from emerging payment threats.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- Strong big data analysis and ability to turn data into insights
- Excellent proficiency in SQL, Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark
- Skilled at using advanced data tools for querying, processing, and managing distributed data environments
- BI skills with Tableau or Power BI
- Able to manage large datasets and derive actionable findings to support business objectives
