The Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant is responsible for helping ensure a great patient experience by preparing patients for examinations, completing pre-exam diagnostic tests, and explaining each step of the process.
Requirements
- Completing patient registration and gathering patient information
- Assisting onsite doctors with patient care and eye examinations
- Administering preliminary tests and documenting results
- Scheduling appointments and managing exam books
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring a clean and healthy environment
- Participating in specialized training and completing required certification(s)
