Hospice Chaplain- Full Time

Responsible for providing spiritual care services to patients and families/caregivers of Mission Hospice and Home Care. Includes provision of pastoral counseling, assessment of spiritual needs, and maintenance of electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 units Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required
• Minimum of 2 years hospice experience required
• Knowledge of different philosophical systems and religions
• Apply culturally appropriate, evidence-informed strategies for addressing multifaceted grief
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Current drivers’ license required
• Proof of automobile insurance required
