Job Description
The Material Handler duties include shipping, receiving, cycle counting, picking, packing, and/or checking material in the climate-controlled warehouse. This role demands attention to detail and the ability to visibly notice small differences in item numbers.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months to 1 year of full-time industry experience in a warehouse, distribution center, order fulfillment center, logistics, supply chain operations or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write, understand and speak English
- Ability to operate manual pallet jack
- Ability to utilize a handheld scanner
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to follow directions and communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Capacity to be self-motivated and achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction
