We are looking for a Wellness Nurse Manager to join our team at Vitalia Active Adult Community at Rockside. The ideal candidate will have a current LPN or RN license, provide direct nursing care, and have a positive and energetic attitude.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing within state of employment
- Direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed
- Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations
- Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents
- Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents (preferred)
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Active and positive attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
