Cook $18-$20/hr (Gig Shift)

We are looking for a Cook to join our team at Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow. The Cook will be responsible for preparing all menu items according to established standards and recipes, and providing exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion. The Cook will also be responsible for ensuring health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures.

Requirements

• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Possess a current Food Handlers Card
• Demonstrate skills, knowledge and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
• Have proficient written and oral communication skills
• Be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
• Be comfortable in close contact to extreme temperatures
• Be criminally cleared
