Hospice Care Physician

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Care Physician to build meaningful relationships with patients and families, providing high-quality end-of-life care in a home or assisted living setting. The role involves managing patients in various care models and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. Requirements

• License to practice medicine or osteopathy in the state in which the program operates
• Board certification or eligibility in hospice and palliative medicine, internal medicine, or related specialty
• Experience managing patients in home or assisted living settings
• Knowledge of hospice and palliative care principles
• Commitment to patient welfare and a 'can-do' attitude
