Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, following the Nurse Practice Act and collaborating with a registered nurse and a team manager. Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, and documentation. The role emphasizes patient care, collaboration, and a strong focus on the person's well-being.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit
