Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) assists terminally ill patients in VITAS program, providing direct nursing care according to the established plan. Responsibilities include direct bedside nursing care, evaluating patient needs, performing treatments and medications, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential for optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience.
