Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program setting, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act. This role involves direct nursing care, evaluation, and documentation, contributing to patient well-being and staff support. They also assist in interdisciplinary team care and contribute to professional growth.

Requirements

• Maintain transportation and liability insurance.
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience.
• At least one year of LPN/LVN experience in a hospital setting.
