Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The VITAS program requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer nursing care to terminally ill patients. The role involves providing skilled bedside care, evaluating patient needs, and ensuring a safe environment. LPNs assist in interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in professional growth activities. Responsibilities also include reporting and documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year of which is an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit
• Equivalent experience may be considered
