Job Description
VITAS is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients in their homes. The role involves administering medications, performing treatments, assessing patient needs, and contributing to the interdisciplinary plan of care. Shift work, including nights and weekends, is available.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain transportation
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience (at least one year of LPN/LVN experience in a hospital setting)
