Resident Care Associate - 3p-11p

The Resident Care Associate is responsible for providing direct care to residents, ensuring their well-being and upholding the Resident Bill of Rights. This role requires compassion, adherence to facility policies, and maintaining high standards of care. The position involves assisting residents with daily living, responding to emergencies, and ensuring resident privacy and safety.

Requirements

• Comply with federal, state, and local health and regulatory standards
• Complete personal care aide course per Pennsylvania regulations
• Maintain a high school diploma or GED
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must adhere to Viva Senior Living’s attendance policies and employment conditions
• Ensure resident's rights are respected
• Perform job responsibilities in accordance with safety procedures
• Be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and be able to push/pull/carry a minimum distance of 50 feet
• Provide care that maintains resident's skin integrity and prevents pressure ulcers
